Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
July 18, 2008
Six days after the great event, and it is still what everyone is talking about.
"Angelina Jolie gave birth to both a boy and a girl in Nice, France on Saturday.
Many magazines want to be the first to have photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina's twins,
and they are willing to pay a lot of money to get them," writes Simple English News.
Meanwhile, should Wyclef Jean and Michael Kelly need a little pocket money they know
where to look.
"If Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ever want to go out on a date alone, they
can certainly turn to their celeb pals to look after their brood of six kids," says
The Times of India.
However, it does not appear they will be going anywhere for a while, according to
Entertainmentwise:
"Angelina Jolie and her twins are likely to remain in hospital for the next few days, a spokesperson has confirmed.
The actress has been in a maternity ward at Lenval hospital in Nice following the birth Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline on Saturday."

Vive la France! The Brangelinian clan is now at eight and counting. As our good friends at Roget's Thesaurus would say, this day is "amplitudinous, astronomical, behemoth, big, colossal, cyclopean, elephantine, enormous, epic, gargantuan, giant, gigantic, great, herculean, herculean, heroic, humongous, immense, imposing, jumbo, large, leviathan, macroscopic, magnitudinous, mammoth, massive, monster, monstrous, monumental, olympian, oversize, prodigious, pyramidal, pythonic, stratospheric, stupendous, titanic, towering, tremendous, vast, vasty." We particularly
agree with "vasty".
The Associated Press described this most joyful of occasions in Jolie-Pitt history:
"Angelina Jolie’s doctor said today that the actress has given birth to a girl and a boy.
Dr Michel Sussmann said that Jolie, the babies and Jolie’s partner, Brad Pitt, 'are doing
marvellously well.'
Dr Sussmann confirmed a report in the local Nice Matin newspaper that
Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Caesarian
section on Saturday night."
Of course this news means that others will have to be called in: "Now that they will have their hands full with six kids, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are finally employing a full-time nanny to get a little extra support."
according to oneindia.
At least there will be some funds to pay for the help: "(Angelina's) advisers have this week been fielding offers from U.S. celebrity magazines for record-breaking bids upwards of L11million for the exclusive rights to carry the first pictures of the new additions to Brangelina's ever-expanding clan,"
The Daily Mail write.
The money will also go to help welcome the next member of the family:
"Actress Angelina Jolie is considering adopting another child, less than two weeks after checking into a hospital to prepare for the birth of her twins,"
The San Francisco Chronicle reports on reports.

Superceding all other Brangelina news today is the cameo appearance which Mr. Pitt made in a
parody video for Jimmy Kimmel's post-Oscar show.
Meanwhile, the meeting that was to be never was.
"ANGELINA Jolie and Brad Pitt ... avoided an Oscar meeting with Pitt's ex Jennifer Aniston by pulling out of a party they were all set to attend,"
The Herald Sun reports.
And lastly, have you heard they are expecting another one (or two)?
"If the bump on her belly is any indication, Angelina Jolie really is pregnant.
The actress created a stir at Saturday night's Spirit Awards when she showed up with partner Brad Pitt on her arm and a noticeably pregnant bulge,"
The Canadian Press writes.
February 22, 2008
It's official, according to the San Francisco Chronicle: "Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's adoption of 4-year-old Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt has been formally approved in a Los Angeles court.
Jolie adopted Pax from an orphanage in Vietnam last year, after a Vietnamese judge approved the adoption."
Meanwhile, The Sun is reporting on some nervous moments in the skies: "FILM star ANGELINA JOLIE — said to be pregnant with twins — collapsed on an 18-hour flight.
A fellow passenger on the journey from Iraq to Los Angeles said: 'She started to get nosebleeds and cramps. She fainted.'"
And lastly, Brangelina made someone's day.
"Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had a double date with Clint Eastwood and his wife on
Wednesday night.
Brad and Angelina were the first to arrive and mistakenly walked into a nearby
eaterie before realising they should be at Los Angeles' Italian restaurant Divino
across the road," The List writes.

The wait continues. Is Brad going to propose or what? "For three years, one of the biggest questions in the American media has been:
Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie going to tie the knot?" writes
Simple English News.
Meanwhile, speaking of waiting, our fellow devotees of the greatest couple which
ever lived over
at brangelina.net have their very own countdown clock to the Angelina-Jennifer
Aniston faceoff that
is due to take place in a mere matter of days, nay, hours, nay, minutes, nay, seconds.
And lastly, perhaps it is this upcoming encounter which has forced Angelina to seek some time alone.
"Angelina Jolie enjoyed some time to herself last week.
The actress was visiting Mammoth in California with Brad, Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh. Mammoth is a ski resort town and the family flew there in a private plane,"
reports MyParkMag.

Are those wedding bells we hear ... again?
"Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to marry in a private ceremony this spring.
The Hollywood couple are rumoured to have been discussing the plans with Brad's mum Jane, who has finally accepted Ange into the family,"
says Now Magazine Online.
But will the nuptials coincide with Angie's maternity leave?
"Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie has fuelled rumours that she may be pregnant by telling those she works with that she will be taking the summer off,"
reports Bounty News.
And should someone in such poor health even consider the burdens or marriage and family expansion?
"Brad Pitt is worried again about his baby mama Angelina Jolie and again there are reports coming in about the health of the actress,"
The National Ledger reveals.
February 14, 2008
It is only natural that, on this day for lovers, one's attention drifts towards the greatest
couple in the history of the planet.
"Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been named Hollywood's most influential couple in a new poll ...
Pitt and Jolie topped the survey because of their humanitarian acts, growing family and 'likeability' as a couple,"
writes China Daily.
Meanwhile, why should a guy limit himself to just one Valentine? "Jennifer Aniston will finally come face-to-face with ex Brad Pitt and his current love Angelina Jolie - at an Oscars party called 'A night for Unity,'"
reports Showbiz Spy.
And last but not least, they're getting married again.
"Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt plan to quietly wed at their Santa Barbara home in the Spring. Sources say Jolie has accepted Pitt’s marriage proposal as she feels "the time is right,'"
TransWorldNews informs us.
