Wild Child (with Emma Roberts) out on DVD November 17

Universal Studios Home Entertainment is releasing the DVD version of the comedy Wild Child, with Emma Roberts, tomorrow, November 17th.

Here is the synopsis:

Sixteen-year-old Poppy (Emma Roberts) is an LA teen diva who does what she wants, whenever she wants. But after an over-the-top prank pushes her father one step too far, she finds herself shipped off to the one place where everything will change: a British boarding school. No cell phones, no designer clothes…no way. Desperate to break free, she sets in motion the ultimate escape plan involving the head mistress’ son – only to discover that this could be the reason she wants to stay. Co-starring Natasha Richardson, Aidan Quinn and Nick Frost, it’s the fun and fabulous comedy that’s LOL!

Bonus Features:

An Early Frost

Since An Early Frost first aired more than 20 years ago it
seems simultaneously as if a few lifetimes have passed and that
it took place just yesterday as far as feelings towards AIDs are concerned.

While still an uncomfortable subject, two decades ago
NBC actually lost money on this tale about a gay lawyer who has
to deal with the stark realization that he has AIDs and his struggle
to announce the news to his family and friends.

The film is notable for the rock-solid cast that includes Aidan Quinn (NBC’s
Book of Daniel, Legends of The Fall) in the lead role, and Gena
Rowlands (The Skeleton Key, Gloria) and Ben Gazzara
(Dogville, Buffalo ’66, The Big Lebowski) as
his parents. Not to mention its writers Ron Cowen and Daniel Lipman
(creators and producers of Showtime’s Queer As Folk).

Interesting facts: When it first appeared on television screens on November
11, 2006, An Early Frost garnered a third of the overall viewing audience
and beat out ABC’s Monday Football Game between the 49ers and the Broncos.
The film was nominated for 14 Emmys and took home four.
