A Hungarian website called ppo.hu, which sells Hungarian motorway passes, is under investigation after surprising customers with a heretofore unannounced annual fee. Reading the English portion of the site — excerpted below — might not exactly make one inclined to reach out for one’s credit card:

From incorrect purchases, orders from our company assumes no refund. Damage resulting from incorrect PPO members to bear their own.|”
