Don’t All Priests Skateboard?
Seemingly taking a page out of Dan Matteo, a free-spirited padre played by Terence Hill in an Italian television series, Zoltan Lendvai, a priest from the southern Hungarian town of Redics, who has wowed the world – the virtual one at least – with his prowess on a skateboard.
Everyone is writing about Father Lendvai, and The Telegraph, even came close to spelling his name right. (Or were they just gaming the search engines?)
The Hungarian press is equally bemused that a story from Hungary should be the subject of international spotlight – with Lendvai’s skateboarding skills riveting the attention of news organizations from the UK to Vietnam.
If only Father Lendvai could help Hungary with its economy.
