Tom Cruise Takes On Online Satire
The Church of Scientology is angry at a satirical
Web site, ScienTOMogy,
for poking fun at the religion in general
and actor
Tom Cruise in particular. In fact, it is so angry
that it is threatening legal action against the virtual entity. We
asked our panel for their thoughts on this spoof of
the Top Gun star and his beliefs.

I don't see what there is to satirize
about Tom Cruise. I mean, except for his
jumping up and down on Oprah's furniture.

And the wacky way he went about
courting Katie Holmes as a whole.

Let's not forget his bizarre
opinions about maintaining one's psychological well being.

Plus, the way he freaked out at Matt Lauer.
|
 |
And the way this pregnancy thing seems like
a publicity stunt as well. |

Come to think of it, the whole thing just
makes you want to laugh out loud.
