TRANSLATION
Diddy Takes Out The 'P'
Hip-hop star and fashion designer Sean Combs -- known
just last week as P. Diddy --
has decided to remove the 'P' from
his name and will henceforth be known
as Diddy. Mr. Combs has in the past also
answered to numerous other appellations, among them
Puff Daddy, Diddy Daddy and Sean Jean.
Our team of so-called reporters with far too much time on their
hands translated what he had to say about his most recent name change.
Diddy: We are entering into the age of Diddy.
Translation: Well, you have to admit it's catchier than “The Global Struggle Against Extemism.”
Diddy: It's a new era.
Translation: Not that I want to sound too retentious or self-im ortant about it.
Diddy: It sounds like something is about to go
down in history.
Translation: Is it just me or is this an incredibly slow news day?
