Rob Thomas's Denial Of Tom Cruise Rumors Translated
Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas uttered
a brief denial today to a press report
that he and actor
Tom Cruise ... well ... you know ... did stuff.
Not, of course that there would be anything wrong
with it if they had. It 's just that we in the
press need something to keep Tom Cruise
in the headlines after Oprah, the engagement
in Paris, the squirting in London, the Matt Lauer episode...
Our team of reporters with far too much
time on their hands translated what Mr. Thomas had to say about the Tom
Cruise rumors.
Rob Thomas:: If I were gay, Tom wouldn't be at the top of my list. It would be Brad Pitt.
Translation:Brad Pitt. Then Tom Cruise. Just, please, anybody but an online satire writer.
Rob Thomas:: I'm more offended by the rumors saying I'm a Scientologist.
Translation: It's almost as bad as admitting you're an online satire writer.
